The leaders at Freedom Sound Ministry are God's servants who are motivated by a deep desire for people to collide with God, and to start living the real life they receive by faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Our leaders are Christ-led with a team approach to ministry. We prayerfully seek God's guidance to align our decisions with His good and perfect plan. Our goal throughout this journey is to positively contribute to the vision and mission of Freedom Sound Ministry, while growing God's kingdom.
Meet Our Leadership Team
Derek & Avery McCauslin
Derek & Avery have been married since 2009, and they are the proud parents of three daughters. They have found their home in Trenton, MO, and are active members of the Trenton First Assembly of God Church.
Derek is currently serving as president of Freedom Sound Ministry. God gave Derek a vision in 2021 to organize a large-scale community outreach with concert-level sound, worship, & evangelism. His passion is discipling other men to grow in their walk with God, and to become the leaders that God created them to be. Derek works in both the cattle and trucking industries. He is also is on the board for our local school district.
Avery is currently the secretary & treasurer of Freedom Sound Ministry. Her passion is to give of her time and talents to serve both Jesus and others. She has a heart for kids ministry, and teaches the 3rd-5th grade Sunday School class at their church, and volunteers frequently at her kids' school. Avery is a registered nurse in the missions field, and works at a local Pregnancy Resource Center.
Colby Olmstead
Colby and his wife Heather have been married since 2005, and live in Trenton with their three boys. They are members of the First Assembly of God Church where Colby serves in boy’s ministry as a Commander in the Royal Rangers program.
Colby is currently serving as a director on the board of Freedom Sound Ministry, and he is the District Manager of one of Missouri’s largest ag retailers. Colby has had the opportunity to connect with young men in the community through his volunteer service at Life Options Pregnancy Resource Center, as they launched their fatherhood program. This experience opened his eyes to the need of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with men and boys in the community. God has provided an opportunity for him to continue to reach those in need through Freedom Sound Ministry.
Brent Reeter
Brent Reeter and his wife Rhonda have been married since 1996, and are the devoted parents of eight children. Brent's journey in ministry spans over two decades, serving currently as the pastor at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Chillicothe, MO.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Brent serves as a director on the board of Freedom Sound Ministry and is the Team Building Director for a local business, bringing his leadership and passion for fostering authentic relationships to the workplace.
With a fiery passion for all individuals to encounter a genuine relationship with God, Brent fearlessly shares his own redemption story, inspiring others to find hope and faith in their own lives.
